I grew up in Tokyo, Japan and lived in Washington state for a number of years. I'm an amateur indoor plant enthusiast and am clinically addicted to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the Tigerbelly podcast, and the Congratulations podcast. I transitioned from my dependency on public transportation to getting around town on my 12-gear Surly bicycle a few years ago, and it has notably improved the quality of my life. I have a deviated septum which I hope to get fixed one day. I took a personality test once, and they tell me I'm an INFJ -- the rarest type. These days, I hit the local public bathhouse on weekends and I sit there thinking about what the hell I was put on earth to accomplish. More recently I've devoted what spare time I have to writing letters to my friend in prison. I recently purchased some stocks. It'll be a while until I become a millionaire.

When I first started producing, I made documentaries for Vice Japan. Vice has some big ideas and great taste in content, so naturally I did everything I could to help. Eventually, after a few years of producing documentaries, the brilliant and incredibly kind folks at Wieden+Kennedy hired me as a Producer and it's been a wild ride ever since.
